Jonathan O'Guin

Director of Facilities/Technical

Jonathan is a Port Orchard native, and product of the Washington theatrical scene, having first gotten interested in acting at South Kitsap High School, before going on to get one of the last degrees in theatre from WSU before their department was shuttered due to the 2008 Recession. Following that, he remained in Pullman for 4 years, helping teach the next generation of the student theatre group STAGE, and working as technical staff at both Daggy Hall and Beasley Coliseum for visiting performers, during which time he won several regional tech awards from the Kennedy Center, and mastered performing in a variety of spaces. He has performed in Leavenworth, Bremerton, Seattle, and Pullman, and has volunteered with the majority of the local community theatre groups in the Kitsap region, where he met the majority of the rest of the board as friends and colleagues. So, he was one of the first people invited to the meetings that would serve as the formation of Ghostlight, and similarly quickly positioned as the director in charge of the group's technical needs.

Branden Nepote

Director of Financial Operations

Branden is a lifelong Washington resident. He grew up in Belfair, WA and has enjoyed time both on the stage and behind the scenes. His first foray into live musical theatre performance was in 2009, as a member of the pit orchestra for the local high school production of “Seussical: The Musical”. He then took to the stage for, “The Music Man”, and has regularly found himself on stage ever since. Thanks to the Running Start program, he graduated from the Olympic College in Bremerton, WA in 2013 after studying vocal performance and taking on a leading role in Gilbert & Sullivan’s, “The Gondoliers”.  He then moved to Ellensburg, WA and obtained a degree in accounting instead. During college he found another outlet with a dance program and went on to achieve one of his longtime goals of learning ballet.  After graduating from Central Washington University with his Bachelor’s in Accounting, he moved to Seattle where he was able to establish his career as a tax accountant and joined the ranks of the Seattle Men’s Chorus. In 2020, he was fortunate to find a home in Port Orchard, WA. Branden is excited for the opportunity to bring his passion for theatre, music, dance; and, professional expertise as a CPA together as our new Financial Operations Director.

Zan Bertolino

Director of Digital Operations

Zan and his family arrived in Washington from Junction City-a small city in the heart of the Flint Hills of Kansas-in 2019. He and his wife have 2 daughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and freshwater fish.  Zan is a Registered Veterinary Nurse splitting his time with Critical Care and Anesthesia. He grew up on the stage starting at 3 years old at the Junction City Little Theatre; started as a Vocal Music Education Major at Kansas State University before changing to Veterinary Medicine; and continued being featured both on stage and off stage with both JCLT, the High School, and the CL Hoover Opera House. Eventually he and his wife followed the yellow brick road from Kansas to The Emerald City! He is also a local Drag Queen-Sacred Heart-that performs around the Puget Sound. Zan is a Ghostlight Performing Arts Board member because he wants to help be a part of a team that brings a little ray of sunshine to cloudy, rainy, Washington life! One of his goals while being involved with performing is to help promote, teach, and preserve the Arts. But most importantly he wants to help promote inclusiveness with all individuals of all ages into the magic of the stage. If we can do this, don’t we all win?!
